Not sure what to do with Derailments. Or with hugoman, on that matter. Perhaps I will repackage the theme and release it. Likewise with the management software.
Cunningham Law is as valid as it can be:
“The best way to get the right answer on the Internet is not to ask a question; it’s to post the wrong answer."
Apple released new products today. Maybe we will get a new AppleTV for Christmas, but the rest, meh, not much interest in them.
Said book just arrived, I should have it finished by week’s end. After that, I will give it to the kid to read and keep. He has two bookshelves, I have none.
Remember when the AI couldn’t count the number of “r” in strawberry? Much has rained since, eh? Now they write mathematical papers like a doctoral student would (or better!), and solve previously long-unsolved math problems. Oh, the times we live in!
Mental note: do not take Zyrtec in the afternoon/evening, no matter what, if you can’t sleep in the next morning. I made that mistake yesternight and am paying the consequences now.
I came across this post on Hacker News, which introduced me to “Invisible Cities”, by Calvino. Very interesting book! Now I am shopping around, mostly on Amazon, for a hard copy of it.
This was dinner tonight. Mum cooked it for us, and it was delicious! What is it called, you ask? Ah, it is called Bún bò Huế, and even thought you don’t see it as red as the one on Wikipedia, I can assure you, it was very spicy!

After all those dummy posts, this is the first one that’s not. It will serve as two things: the first post (consider it a “hello world”), and a first test of real usage for hugoman, the frontend for Hugo that I have been working on for the last three days. Here goes nothing!
It worked! On the next few days I will be deleting the dummy posts, as I create my own. I also need to work on the “About”, but that’s a page for another day. I didn’t implement editing pages on hugoman, only posts. So, yeah.
